Mike & Alba's Wedding at the Tyler Arboretum, Delaware County Wedding Photography
Alba & Mike were such a sweet couple and we had a great time shooting them on their wedding day. Everything was held at Tyler Arboretum in Media, PA. This is a great location set among 650 acres of beautiful landscape featuring flowers, meadows, trees, gardens & streams. The ceremony was set to be in the Magnolia Grove, but because of the morning rain they had it in their amazing tent behind the Stone Bank Barn. Alba is of Mexican descent so there was definitely a Mexican flare to the whole day & night. We always love an excuse to put our Spanish to good use & this wedding was no exception. Alba even hired Mariachis for the ceremony & cocktail hour! Their first dance was definitely spicy & their signature drink was called the Paloma, which means dove in Spanish. They had custom white wedding banners hanging from the ceiling of the dining tent along with the traditional colorful banners inside for dancing. One of the cutest touches was the Novia & Novio (Bride & Groom) signs that hung from their chairs during the reception. We of course had to use them for some end of the night photos! The DJ played both U.S. & Latin hits to keep the night going as everyone danced into the night. Felicidades to Mike & Alba!
Courtney & Reed's Wedding at The Stone Barn, Kennett Square, PA Wedding Photography
We had a great time shooting Courtney & Reed's engagement photos so we were super excited for their wedding. We started with getting ready shots in Kennett Square, PA before heading to the ceremony at the Christian Life Center in New London, PA. After the beautiful ceremony we all headed to The Mill at The Stone Barn for the reception. We got to use their beautiful grounds for some more great shots during cocktail hour and then Tom Barrett Disc Jockeys got the party started. They had a great wedding cake by The Master's Baker as well as a groom's cake that really looked like a football helmet! The party went on into the night & the whole room was filled with love & laughter. We wish Courtney & Reed all the best as they start their new life together.
Jackie & PJ's Wedding at the Penn Oaks Country Club in West Chester, PA
We had a blast shooting Jackie & PJ's wedding. Since Jackie was all over the place getting ready, we started with the ceremony at St. Pius X church in Broomall, PA. The ceremony was beautiful & there was even a violinist that Jackie's Mom had there as a surprise. After some quick portraits at the church we all headed to Penn Oaks Golf Club in West Chester, PA. Even though there was a massive down pour during the time we were supposed to do outdoor portraits, we still got some great shots & everyone kept on smiling. The reception was full of more fun, & when it stopped raining we got more portraits of the happy couple. We think rain really is good luck on your wedding day & we wish Jackie & PJ all the best!
Samantha & Jeff's Wedding at The Rockwood Carriage House, Wilmington Delaware Wedding Photography
We had a great time shooting Samantha & Jeff's wedding. We got to the church in Wilmington super early for getting ready shots & even though we were stuck in the balcony for the ceremony due to the church's rules, we still got some great shots of the two saying I do. After that we all headed over to Rockwood Carriage House in Wilmington, DE. We used the beautiful grounds for group shots & gorgeous portraits of the newly weds. Inside the carriage house was beautifully decorated with tons of amazing flowers. Most of the other cute details were DIYed by Samantha herself! The reception kicked right off with the help of the DJs from 4Most Sound. They even had a Karaoke version of "Don't Stop Believing" so two of the bridesmaids could sing their own version written especially for the bride & groom. It was a fairy tale night & these two will truly live happily ever after.
