Leah & John's Wedding at The Pratt Gardens, New Jersey Wedding Photography
Even though the temperature dropped & it rained the night before, nothing could stop these two from having the perfect wedding day. We started with Leah & her bridesmaids at her Mom's house where they were all getting ready. Then we went to the church where John & the guys were all getting ready before the ceremony. The couple were happily married & each guest was given a little bag of bird seed to throw on the newlyweds as they made their exit. After we left the church we were headed to the reception at The Pratt Gardens where we knew we were in for a beautiful setting & amazing food. Luckily we finished portraits just in time! The rain came pouring down as Leah & John were making their entrance into their first dance. It didn't dampen anyone's spirits though because the tent was secure & the food was delicious! Not only did these foodies have their friends as the chefs but they also had a friend at the turntables to DJ for them & the night went effortlessly despite the rain outside. Congratulations to Leah & John! May you enjoy many meals together as husband & wife.
Lauren & Ray's Wedding at the Stone Barn, Kennett Square Wedding Photography
We love outdoor ceremonies so we were certainly excited for Lauren & Ray's fall wedding at The Stone Barn. It was a perfect day for it too! We started with Lauren & the girls getting ready at her parent's house & then headed over early to meet with Ray & the boys for their shots. We had the opportunity to get some first look shots of the bride & groom before the ceremony which we love to do in such a beautiful setting. After that we were able to fit in some portraits around the gorgeous mill. The ceremony took place just as the sun was setting & they had their very own bagpipe player to accompany them as they walked down the aisle. The sun lowered in the sky and the fall leaves were glowing as they said their vows. We were able to get some great sunset shots after the ceremony & then they joined their cocktail hour to set the night off. They spent weeks brewing 3 different flavors of their own beer as favors which the guests loved along with the photo booth that was set up as well. DJ Na:tev from White Label DJs definitely put an original spin on the night as everyone happily danced & sang along. Best wishes to Lauren & Ray as they begin their life together!
Kate & Jason's Wedding at the Seaview Resort, Atlantic City, New Jersey Wedding Photography
We have been getting to know Kate & Jason for over a year now. It was so much fun shooting their engagement session in Ocean City, NJ with their cute little dog Mason. We definitely knew the wedding was going to be fun too! We started at Kate's parent's house for the getting ready shots. We were surprised how organized everything was with 9 bridesmaids! Kate got each of them a monogramed hoodie & everyone was looking super cute before they all slipped into their dresses. We did a quick toast & photo session in her parents backyard & then headed to the church in Linwood, NJ for the beautiful ceremony. Jason looked very dapper in his tuxedo, almost like he was straight out of old hollywood. Each of their guests were given ribbon wands for the couple's exit from the church instead of the traditional rice throwing for a sweet touch. After some family shots behind the church before we made our way to the reception at Seaview Resort in Galloway, NJ. We had a great time with the huge bridal party before we got Kate & Jason to ourselves for some romantic shots in front of the venue, on the bay side of the golf course & in the golf cart parking garage. Then the party got started and went on into the night. Everyone had a great time dancing and eating the delicious food. It was definitely a beautiful beginning to their future together. Congratulations to Kate & Jason!
Exploring Costa Rica & Panama
We're finally getting around to posting about our winter travels! Every year we like to get out and explore. Of course the cameras always come with us! This year we went back to Costa Rica for a few weeks and then made our way across the border to Panama for a few more weeks. Neither of us had ever been to Panama and we highly recommend it to anyone looking to travel. It was really hard narrowing down pictures to share, but here are a few!
